Idle and Tycoon Games
Idle games are the ones where you tap a little, buy a lot and watch the numbers climb, even when you put the phone down for a while. We have three of them, and they are more different than they look.
Boss Town Tycoon starts you with $10 and one empty lot and grows into a whole town of businesses, with investors to sell to, stars, ranks and perks that make every new run faster. Chai Tycoon begins with one chaiwala and one kettle and grows into a whole bazaar of shops run by managers, and Corner Office climbs the career ladder from Intern on floor 2 to the CEO's office on floor 60, with quick office minigames along the way.
Each one has its own long-term goal. In Boss Town Tycoon, selling your town to investors starts you over, but every investor makes all your shops earn 2% more on the next run. In Chai Tycoon, shops with a manager keep earning while you are away, up to an offline limit. In Corner Office, funny coworkers help you climb from floor to floor toward the top.
All three save your progress on your device, so short sessions are fine. If you are not sure where to start, our comparison post explains how they differ, how long each one takes and which one suits you.
