Corner Office Guide: From Intern to CEO in 10 Promotions
Corner Office is a cheerful idle game about climbing the career ladder. You start as an Intern at a small desk on floor 2, tap to work, play quick office minigames and hire funny coworkers until you reach the CEO's office on floor 60. Our first promotion took about a minute. Here is how.

Corner Office is set in a cartoon office tower. As an Intern you get a plain desk, a filing cabinet and a water cooler by a window. Every promotion moves you up the building, and the walls, floor, desk and even your suit get fancier, until you are the CEO on floor 60 with gold trim everywhere.
It is an idle game: tapping helps at the start, but before long your team earns coins for you, even when you are away.
Our first promotion
We pressed Play and started tapping the desk. Each tap paid 1 coin and filled the performance bar a little. Tapping quickly built up a COMBO, which reached x2.0. After 30 fast taps we had 47 coins and 38 out of the 60 performance needed for the first promotion.
Next we tried the first task, Coffee Rush. A coffee machine pours, and a meter beside it has a green zone with an arrow sliding up and down. Tap when the arrow is in the green. There are 5 cups. We got 1 star ("Good job!"), which still paid +5 performance and +25 coins. The task then went on a short cooldown (a 29-second timer appeared on its button).
A few more taps filled the bar to 60/60, and a big ⭐ Get Promoted! button appeared. That's the loop: tap, play tasks, fill the bar, get promoted.
The lesson: tasks are worth more than they look. One quick minigame, even played badly, did as much as a dozen taps.
The three tasks

Each task has a cooldown after you play it, so rotate between all three.
Golden sticky notes float across the office now and then. Catch them for a bonus.

Hire coworkers to earn coins every second, even when you are not tapping:

Coworkers also add a little performance over time, so they help you get promoted too. Kiko the Office Cat is mostly for fun, and she is the last thing to save up for.
Upgrades
In the Office tab:
- Coffee Machine (from 15): +50% per tap.
- Bigger Monitors (from 60): +25% performance.
- Comfy Chair (from 150): +30% team income.
- Office Plants (from 400): +15% to everything.
Each upgrade gets more expensive every time you buy it.
Our order: hire Mia (20) as soon as you can, then one Coffee Machine level, then Leo. Once you have a few coworkers, the Comfy Chair is the best value.

Your desk changes at several ranks, and from Vice President the office turns dark and elegant with gold details.
While you are away
When you come back, a "Welcome back!" card shows what your team earned. It counts up to 2 hours away, at half the normal rate. So a quick visit a few times a day is the best rhythm.
Tips for parents
Corner Office has no timers you can fail, nothing to lose and no scary content. It is a gentle introduction to the idea of saving up and investing coins to earn more.
