What's New in October 2026: Bigger Boss Town, 10 New Rail Rush Levels and More
October has been a busy month. Every game on the site got at least one update, two new games arrived, and several older favourites got bigger. Here is a round-up of the changes worth knowing about.

Most game updates are small: a button moved so it no longer covers a title, a number that now fits on a narrow screen. Those matter, but they are not very exciting to read about. So this round-up focuses on the changes you will actually notice when you play. Every change below comes from our own update notes for the week of 13 to 19 October 2026.
New games this month
Tank Rumble
Tank Rumble is a cartoon toy-tank battle game made with younger players in mind. You drive a little tank around a play mat by dragging anywhere on the screen, and your tank aims and fires by itself. Goofy robots arrive in waves and pop into bolts and stars, which you collect to spend in the garage on upgrades and new tanks. Each stage ends with a big boss bot, and between waves you choose a power perk to make your tank stronger. It is one of the easiest games on the site to pick up, because there is only one thing to do with your finger.
Corner Office
Corner Office is a short, silly idle game about climbing the office ladder. Tap your desk to work, hire funny coworkers, play quick office tasks like Coffee Rush and Inbox Zero, and get promoted through ten ranks from intern to CEO. In our playthrough the whole climb took about 18 minutes, which makes it a nice "one sitting" game. Since launch, the promotion card has been fixed to show exact pay numbers (it used to round them down), and a scroll hint now makes sure nobody misses the coworkers at the bottom of the Team list.
Bigger updates
Boss Town Tycoon gets a huge update
Boss Town had the biggest month of any game. After a long playtest showed the middle of the game needed more to do, a large update added:
- Town Missions that award stars
- Boss Ranks, from Stall Kid to Galaxy Boss, each one giving a profit bonus
- A Daily Town Gift with a seven-stamp card
- Lucky Surprises, such as a floating briefcase of cash and a balloon that boosts your income for a short time
- The Investor Board, with perks unlocked as your investors grow
- Friendly first-play tips from Mayor Mo, and decorations for the town
Three more updates followed, all about phones: the town at the top of the screen is now bigger and closer, the business list has more room (five full rows on a typical phone), and every number fits on screen, even very long ones.

Rail Rush: a whole new world
Rail Rush, the train-switching puzzle game, now has 40 levels. The new Bonus Lines world adds levels 31 to 40, and there are four new engines (eight in total) and three track themes to choose from in a new tabbed shop. Finishing the last level now ends with a proper celebration. The trains are also bigger on upright phone screens, and stations and trees lean gently as the view moves.
Hop Heights: fewer frustrating falls
When we played all 60 stages of Hop Heights, the double spinning bars in Neon Night (stages 43, 45 and 48) caused more falls than anything else in the game. They have been made easier, along with similar sections in stages 47, 53 and 58. Ice in Frosty Peaks is now easier to see, the camera no longer follows a fall for so long, and a hint now reminds you that a tap gives a small hop and holding gives a full jump.
Horde Breaker goes fully cartoon
Horde Breaker, our top-down survival shooter, has been reworked to be much gentler. All gory effects were removed and replaced with cartoon ones: torn and patched clothes, dizzy stars, dust poofs and purple stink puddles. Your own hero gets band-aids instead of wounds.
Smaller changes you might spot
- Betta Bestie: when you have earned lots of coins from mini-games in one day, your fish now tells you she is getting sleepy, which explains why rewards are halved until tomorrow. The Hoop Jump hint also moved so it no longer covers the bowl when you play sideways.
- Bolt Brigade: replaying a boss you have already beaten no longer announces "New stage unlocked!", and finishing every mission with three stars now earns a special message.
- Skyfire Squadron: the rear turrets on the Grumble Bomber and Storm Baron can now be hit by normal shots, so you no longer need a Mega attack to deal with them.
- Silly Sprout Garden: new seeds now favour creatures you have not discovered yet, so filling your book is quicker.
- Kedim Therapist: the office feels more alive, with a swaying plant on the windowsill, a bird flying past the window and sparkles of dust in the light. Timed mini-games now warn you in the last five seconds.
- Meowstronauts: the cat rockets are drawn bigger and glow, so they are easier to follow. The area that counts as a hit did not change, so the game is not any harder.
- Beat Buddies: the Voices and Effects tabs are easier to find on upright phones, and the Daily Fun mix now changes properly every day.
Fresh art across the site
Many games received a new coat of paint this month. A few highlights:
- Juicy Merge has more detailed fruit with cuter faces and a juice splash every time two fruits merge, plus a new kitchen window and shelves in the background.
- Noodle Clash now serves food-shaped orbs (dumplings, eggs, shrimp, chillies and more) in a ceramic bowl arena with steam.
- Gobble Hole has more detailed buildings with balconies and awnings, and long shadows across the streets.
- Bus Bonanza got shinier buses with mirrors, roof racks and headlights at night.
- Fin Frenzy added jellyfish, schools of reef fish and a turtle.
- Sunny Acres, Pirate Isles, Moto Mayhem, Neon Dash, Block Glide and Zaib City also got richer scenery.
Share with a friend
Every game now has a Share button on its menu, pause and results screens, so you can send a game to a friend in two taps. It never appears while you are playing, so it won't get in the way.
What's next
For the next few weeks the plan is simple: make the games we already have even better, rather than adding lots of new ones. That means more fixes from playtesting, more guides on this site, and more tips posts like this one. If you spot something that doesn't feel right in a game, our contact page explains what details help us fix it.
