Silly Sprout Garden Guide: Grow, Water, Harvest and Collect All 34 Creature-Plants
Silly Sprout Garden is a cosy garden game where every seed grows into a funny creature-plant: a Cactus Penguin, a Banana Shark, a Lettuce Lamb. Plant, water, harvest, sell and collect all 34. Our first sprout was ready in about 20 seconds. Here is how to grow your collection.

Silly Sprout Garden has a pastel picture-book garden: a pink cottage, a pond with lily pads, a white picket fence, butterflies and bees. Below it are wooden garden patches. You start with a few, and more can be bought as you earn coins.
It is gentle, slow-paced and full of giggles, a good choice for younger children who like collecting things.
Our first harvest
When we pressed Play, a Daily Gift card appeared first: Day 1 gives 20 coins, and the gifts grow each day up to 250 coins and an Epic seed on Day 7. Then a hint said: "Tap an empty patch to plant your first seed!"
We tapped a patch, and a Pick a seed panel opened: Common seed x4, grows in about 20s. We pressed Plant. A new hint appeared: "Tap your sprout to water it. Splash! It grows faster." We planted a second seed in the next patch and watered both.
About 20 seconds later the first plant was wiggling and sparkling: "When it wiggles and sparkles, tap it to harvest!" We tapped it and got a NEW CREATURE! card: the Lettuce Lamb, Common, *"Crunchy on the outside, cuddly on the inside."* Our coins went from 50 to 70, thanks to the First Sprout achievement.
The lesson: always water your sprouts. It is free, it speeds them up, and while you wait you can plant the next patch.

The basic loop
- Plant a seed in an empty patch.
- Water it (tap the sprout).
- Harvest when it wiggles and sparkles.
- Sell creatures in the Sell basket for coins, or keep them.
- Buy new seeds in the Shop, and more patches as you grow.
New creatures are added to your Book, which is where the real goal lies: find all 34.
Seed rarities
| Rarity | Seed cost | Grow time | Sells for | Unlocks at level |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 10 | about 20 s | 16 | 1 |
| Uncommon | 45 | about 50 s | 74 | 2 |
| Rare | 160 | about 2 min | 255 | 4 |
| Epic | 500 | about 4 min | 790 | 6 |
| Legendary | 1,500 | about 7 min | 2,350 | 9 |
| Mythic | 5,000 | about 12 min | 7,900 | 12 |
Each seed grows into a random creature of its rarity, so buying more seeds of a rarity is how you complete that page of the Book. Every seed sells for well over what it costs, so the garden always pays its way.
Weather and mutations
The weather changes every minute or so, and it is shown at the top of the screen with a countdown:
| Weather | Effect |
|---|---|
| Clear Skies | Gentle growing weather |
| Rain Shower | Free watering, and any mutation can appear |
| Golden Sunshine | Golden mutations |
| Rainbow | Rainbow mutations |
| Moon Night | Glowing mutations |
A mutated creature is worth more: Golden ×3, Glowing ×4, Rainbow ×5. Plant lots of seeds when special weather is coming up, and keep an eye on the countdown.

Achievements worth chasing
Achievements pay coins. A few of the best:
- First Sprout (harvest 1): 20 coins
- Mutant Finder (first mutant): 80
- Rainbow Ranger (a Rainbow creature): 150
- Collector (10 different creatures): 200
- Bigger Garden (12 patches): 150
- Decorator (place 3 decorations): 300
- Best Buddy (daily gift 7 days in a row): 500
- Silly Sprout Master (all 34): 5,000
There are also daily Quests for extra coins.
Tips
- Water every sprout, more than once. Each splash cuts the grow time, until the game says "Full of water!"
- Keep every patch busy. An empty patch earns nothing.
- Buy patches early. More patches mean more harvests at once.
- Save rare seeds for special weather to get mutations.
- Come back daily. The Day 7 gift includes an Epic seed.
