Moto Mayhem Guide: Stay on the Road, Win Races, Upgrade Your Bike
Moto Mayhem is an arcade motorbike race down a winding highway against seven rival riders. The throttle is automatic, so the game is all about steering, dodging and, when a rival gets too close, a well-timed shove. Our first race taught us the most important rule the hard way.

Moto Mayhem looks great on a phone. The first track, Sunset Coast, runs along a sandy shore with palm trees, a huge orange sun and red-and-white kerbs. Your rider sits right in front of you in a yellow helmet, the speedometer reads out km/h, and seven rivals are somewhere up the road.
It is a racing game with cartoon biker scuffles: you can push rivals off their bikes with punches and kicks, and a police biker turns up on later tracks. There is no blood, but it is an action game about knocking riders down, so it suits older children best.
Our first race: a lesson in staying on the road
We started on Sunset Coast in 8th place out of 8. Steering with the arrow keys, we drifted to the left side and onto the sand within the first few seconds. We threw some punches and kicks at empty air, picked up $100 from a pickup, and a minute later we were... still 8th, at a steady 76 km/h.
The reason is simple: riding off the road limits your top speed. The bike slows down, shakes, kicks up dust, and an "OFF ROAD! Steer back" message flashes up. All the rivals were on the tarmac pulling away.
So the first rule of Moto Mayhem: keep the bike between the kerbs. Overtaking and fighting come second.

Controls
| Action | Phone | Keyboard |
|---|---|---|
| Steer | Hold the left or right side of the screen (Touch), slide your thumb (Drag) or tilt the phone (Tilt) | Left and Right arrows |
| Brake | BRAKE button | Down arrow |
| Punch left / right | PUNCH buttons | A / D |
| Kick left / right | KICK buttons | Q / E |
| Pause | II button | P or Esc |
If one steering style feels awkward, try another in Settings. Tilt has a calibration option.
Your two health bars
- RIDER (green) drops when rivals hit you. At zero you are knocked down and lose time.
- BIKE (blue) drops when you crash into traffic or roadside objects. At zero your bike is wrecked.
Pickups help: a wrench repairs the bike, a medkit restores rider health, nitro gives a speed boost, and cash is cash.
Racing tips
- Stay on the road. Off-road riding caps your speed.
- Brake before sharp bends rather than sliding wide onto the sand.
- Dodge traffic first, fight second. A crash costs more time than a rival gains.
- Kicks reach further and hit harder; punches are quicker. Use kicks when a rival is a little way off, punches when they are right beside you.
- Knocking a rival off their bike pays bonus cash. You can grab a club for heavier hits, or knock out a rival carrying one to take it.
- Watch for the police biker from Red Canyon on. Get knocked down near him and you are busted with a fine. Knock him out and you get a big bonus.
Prizes
Every place pays something on the first track: $1,500 for 1st, then $1,000, $700, $500, $350, $250, $150 and $100 for 8th. Later tracks multiply the prizes (Pine Valley's first prize is $2,400, Red Canyon's $3,600 and Neon City's $5,100). Finishing in the top 3 unlocks the next track.
The five tracks
| Track | Difficulty | What is new |
|---|---|---|
| Sunset Coast | 1 star | Easy curves by the sea |
| Pine Valley | 2 stars | Forest roads |
| Red Canyon | 3 stars | Police patrols begin |
| Neon City | 4 stars | Police and oncoming traffic at night |
| Frost Peak | 5 stars | Icy hairpins |
Traffic gets heavier and the hills get steeper as you go.
The Garage
| Bike | Price | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Rustbucket 250 | Free | Old but honest |
| Viper 600 | $3,500 | Nimble street bike |
| Shadow 900 | $9,000 | Heavy hitter, tough frame |
| Thunderbolt 1200 | $20,000 | The fastest thing on two wheels |
Each faster bike also accelerates harder, handles better and has more armour. The Upgrades tab improves your engine, tires and armor. A good plan is to save for the Viper 600 first, then put money into tires so the bike grips on later tracks.
What changed after testing
Updates gave the game a graphics pass and general polish, then made big cash amounts display in a compact way (K, M and so on) so they always fit on screen.
