About the game
Number Dash is a math runner for phones and desktop browsers, made for young kids and grown-ups alike. Your Number Buddy starts at 1 and dashes down a bright track. Every gate shows a sum: + and × gates make your number grow, − and ÷ gates make it shrink. Choosing well is the real puzzle: +10 beats ×2 when your number is small, but ×2 wins once it is big.
Quiz doors ask a quick question, like 7 + 5 or 6 × 8, and running through the right answer adds it to your number. At the end of every level a Number Monster waits with its own number. Be bigger and you win, and the closer you get to the best possible number, the more stars you earn. There are 60 levels across six worlds (Sunny Meadow, Desert Dunes, Candy Land, Snowy Peaks, Tropic Beach and Starry Space), 12 Buddies to unlock with coins, and three math levels: Easy (adding and taking away), Medium (times tables) and Hard (big sums, dividing and squares).
How to play
- Drag left or right anywhere on the screen (or use the arrow keys) to steer your Number Buddy.
- Blue gates (+ and ×) make your number bigger. Red gates (− and ÷) make it smaller. When both gates are blue, work out which one gives the bigger number.
- On quiz doors, work out the sum on the red banner and run through the door with the right answer to add it to your number.
- Dodge the grumpy minus clouds and collect coins along the way.
- Reach the finish with a number bigger than the Number Monster's to clear the level. Finish near the best possible number for 3 stars.
- Spend coins on new Buddies, and pick Easy, Medium or Hard math in Settings.
