About the game
Neon Dash is a one-tap rhythm runner for phones and desktop browsers. A glowing cube races through a synthwave city on its own, and your only job is to jump at the right moment to clear pink spikes and purple blocks on the way to the finish gate.
There are 200 levels. Each one has a fixed layout, so practice pays off, and a solver has checked that each one can be beaten with fair timing. Later levels are faster and packed tighter. Every level has its own synthwave track and color theme, and the coins you collect unlock 44 neon cube skins.
How to play
- Your cube moves forward automatically. Tap the screen, or press Space, the Up arrow or W, to jump.
- Touching a spike or a block ends the run. You cannot stand on blocks, so jump clean over everything.
- Hold the button to jump again the moment you land. This is the easiest way through tight runs of spikes, and a short input buffer also catches taps that come slightly early.
- Grab the yellow coins floating in the air. Finishing a level gives 5 bonus coins and unlocks the next one.
- The bar at the top shows your progress, and a yellow mark shows your best run on that level. After a crash, tap to retry straight away.
- Spend coins in the Skin Shop. Tip: in portrait you see less of the track ahead, so turning your phone sideways helps on later levels.
