About the game
Meowstronauts is an arcade space flyer and shooter for phones and desktop browsers. Sunny the yellow cat and Shadow the black cat ride their rockets across six planets to get home. Along the way they dodge asteroids, collect fish stars and blast space mice and robots.
Each planet has its own look, music, hazards and boss: Moon Cheese, Candy Planet, Ice Comet, Lava World, Black Hole and finally Home: Purrth. Play alone and swap between the two cats at any time, or team up with a friend on the same phone. All characters, art and music are original.
How to play
- Drag anywhere on the screen to fly. Your cat follows your finger's movement and shoots automatically.
- Tap the big button to use your cat's power. Sunny's Sun Shield blocks and reflects bullets. Shadow's Shadow Cloak phases through everything and ends with a burst.
- Collect fish stars to fill the MEOW meter, then unleash a Mega Meow shockwave that clears every bullet on screen.
- In 1 Player the other cat flies as a sidekick. Tap SWAP to switch cats; each cat has its own power cooldown.
- In 2 Players, Player 1 drags on the left half and Player 2 on the right half. Fly into a knocked-out friend's bubble to rescue them.
- Shoot the glowing ? UFOs to get power-ups, and beat the boss at each planet to unlock the next one.
