About the game
Horizon Pilot is a 3D flying game for phones and desktop browsers. You start in a small trainer at Zaib International and explore an island with mountains, valleys, lakes, a coastline, cities and 7 airports, under day, dusk, night and storm skies.
The career has 25 missions: ring courses, landings and crosswind landings, splashdowns, cargo drops, firefighting, sea rescues, air shows, an engine failure, a jammed landing gear and jet races. Earn coins and XP to rank up, buy new planes, upgrade engines and paint them in new liveries. Free Flight hides 30 golden stars, and there is a new Daily Challenge every day.
How to play
- Push the throttle (right slider) up, roll down the runway and gently pull back on the stick to take off.
- Drag the stick (left side) to bank and climb or dive. Let go and the assisted controls level the wings for you. Hold the stick all the way to one side for a full roll, or all the way up or down for a loop.
- Follow the objective at the top of the screen and the green markers: fly through rings, reach waypoints or find the target.
- To land, line up with the runway, lower the GEAR and FLAPS, slow down and follow the glide path dots. Touch down gently and hold BRAKE to stop.
- Switch cameras with CAM: chase, cockpit with instruments, or cinematic. AUTO lets the autopilot fly when you need a break (it caps that mission at 2 stars).
